Introducing iwacu

Your family's tree and history, kept by your family.

Many families have been scattered, and the elders who remember are getting older. iwacu (home, in Kinyarwanda) is where a family keeps its tree and its history together: the people, the moments (even when the date is only "around 1950"), the places, the stories.

The tree lives on the family's devices and is shared only with the relatives the family chooses. Nobody can search for a family or an ancestor from outside: some histories are painful, some are dangerous.

Open iwacu.paramira.org, or build a tree with a demo family in the playground.
