What it is

The real apps (abantu, iwacu and a lighter isoko), embedded in one page and pointed at a test network: its own relays and directory, with bot members who sell, mediate and vote.

The vision

You should be able to see how a tool behaves before trusting it with anything real. The playground runs the same code as the real apps; only the network is different, and a banner says so.

Using it

  1. Create a test identity in the browser: the same kind of key the real apps make.

  2. Join the test community in abantu, adopt a protocol, vote.

  3. Build a tree in iwacu with the demo family.

  4. Trade in isoko: buy from a bot, dispute the delivery, watch a bot mediator resolve it. Switch to a bot's account to see the other side.

  5. Follow a tutorial: guided steps that check your progress.

  6. Reset when you want to start again.

How it's built

A static site with the apps embedded on the same address, a test relay behind it, and bots that act on the test network. Nothing on it can reach the real network.

Run it yourself

The playground is how we show the apps while their code waits for its security review; it isn't meant to be run by communities.
